LINE Games Unleashes Free Ember and Blade Demo on Steam July 17
Seoul, July 14, 2025 – LINE Games today revealed it will release a free playable demo of Ember and Blade on Steam beginning Thursday, July 17. Players can dive into up to two hours of relentlessly brutal combat as Fenrix Haven, a former human turned immortal demon hunter, battles endless waves of fiendish demons and punishing soulslike bosses.
Ember and Blade melds hack-and-slash action, roguelite progression and survival-horde pacing. Every run challenges you to experiment with randomized angelic blessings, sword-and-magic combos and strategic resource management—all set in a richly painted world.

What’s Next Following the demo release, Ember and Blade expands during Steam Next Fest this fall with a vertical-slice build that lets players test progression systems, tackle new stages and bosses, experiment with advanced weapon mechanics and join live community events. In Q4 2025 the title moves into Steam Early Access, bringing regular updates, balance tweaks and fresh content drops. Finally, in 2026 the full game launches globally on Steam and Steam Deck, with console versions under consideration.
