February 12, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has rolled out a new update with special events to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day.

 

First, a new Admiral Chronicle has been added, featuring 'Dagna Kalros', a member of a Swedish merchant family. Players who own this Admiral can experience a story that uncovers the connection between the mysterious disappearance of her family's fortune and the sudden deaths of her parents.

 

As players progress through the Chronicle, they can obtain the A Grade Mate 'Per Sørensen', and upon completing the Chronicle, they can recruit the S Grade Mate 'Frida Stensdóttir' by visiting the inn.

 

Additionally, 'Fredrick' from the Bristol Inn is now recruitable as a Mate. By visiting the inn and maximizing Friendship with him, players will be able to recruit Fredrick as an S Grade Mate.

 

Players can enjoy many exciting new developments in Phase 2 of Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan'. With this update, the new Trade Good 'Red Smoked Herring' has been added to the Lusitanian Village and the Frankish Village. Players can also obtain a new Adventure Note, 'Northern Records', through Land Exploration in the Greece and North Sea regions.

 

Furthermore, a new 'Craft Workshop' category has been added under the 'Production' feature. Using Trade Goods and Basic Crafting Tools, players can now produce growth materials (such as the Astrolabe and Manual) as well as Mate Gear such as Accessories and Face Deco. Three new 'Employee Requests' have also been added, which can be accepted after building Friendship with Inn Employees.

 

A variety of events celebrating Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day are also being held. First, the 'Valentine's Trade Event' will run through March 10. During the event period, surcharge effects will increase demand for Trade Goods such as 'Inca Rose', 'Mirror', and 'Platinum' in specific regions, greatly boosting trade profits.

 

During the same period, the 'Sweet Piece of Attendance Gift A Day' event will be open as well. Players who log in during the event period will receive a 'Sweet Voyage Ticket', which can also be obtained through the 'Angelica's Secret Chocolate Recipe' event and the 'Sweet Crafting Mission' event.

 

'Sweet Voyage Tickets' collected through these events can be used as the draw currency in the 'Sweet Lucky Draw' event, which runs through March 13. Players can use them to obtain items such as the 'Grade 26 Ship Voucher' and 'Grade 26 Ship Materials'.

 

In addition, the 'Red Smoked Herring Barter Mission', commemorating Phase 2 of Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan', will run through March 10. Finally, the 'Eastern New Year Greetings' event will be held from February 13 to February 26. During this period, players who log in can obtain in-game currency 'Blue Gems' along with various items, including 'Common Contracts'.
