March 24, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – LINE Games announced on March 24th that it has begun global pre-registration for Genesis War, a character collection RPG developed by Meerkat Games and published by LINE Games.

 

Genesis War is a mobile character collection RPG based on the iconic Korean IP, The War of Genesis, combining strategic turn-based combat with a deeply immersive storyline.

 

First launched in Korea in 2024, the game is based on the classic Korean series The War of Genesis 1 and The War of Genesis 2, and has been praised for its modern reinterpretation of the original characters and emotional depth. It has since built a strong fanbase not only in Korea but across Asia, including Taiwan and elsewhere.

 

Players can enjoy an experience-driven gameplay system that faithfully recreates the original world, allowing them to follow the overarching narrative, encounter iconic characters, and engage in battle. With its design and presentation expertly optimized for mobile, the game delivers a highly polished gameplay experience for both longtime fans of the original IP and new players around the world.

 

Since early this year, LINE Games has been running global pre-registration for Genesis War in the United States, Thailand, Europe, and elsewhere. Pre-registration is available via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. To support a global audience, the game will offer multiple language options, including English, French, German, Thai, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Indonesian.

 

The 'Milestone Event' is also underway, offering players core items needed for gameplay and character progression.
