LINE Games Soft-Launches ‘Genesis War’ in Canada, Australia, and Indonesia
[2026-04-14] LINE Games has announced the soft launch of 'Genesis War', a character-collecting RPG developed by Meerkat Games and serviced by LINE Games.
'Genesis War' is a mobile character-collecting RPG based on the iconic Korean IP 'The War of Genesis', combining strategic turn-based combat with a highly immersive storyline. Starting with its initial launch in 2024, the game has been conducting global pre-registrations in regions including the United States, Thailand, and Europe since early this year.
This soft launch targets Canada, Australia, and Indonesia. Users in these regions can download and play 'Genesis War' through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, while pre-registration remains open in other global regions.
Through the soft launch, players can enjoy Chapters 1 to 26 of the main story based on The War of Genesis 2, along with various content such as Inner World stories (Karim with Two Faces, The Beginning of Fate) that delve into the hidden narratives of the characters.
Furthermore, players can experience the fun of character progression by participating in various gameplay content, including Imperial Raid, Blue Seed Pirates, Goblin Hunt, Area Investigation, and Machina War, to acquire essential currency and equipment for growth.
Diverse events have been prepared to celebrate the soft launch. By participating in special daily events, special combat training, consecutive check-in events, and daily login events, users can obtain abundant rewards, including 110 character summon tickets and various growth materials.
Benefits are also provided for users in regions outside the soft launch countries. Those who participate in the ongoing pre-registration on Google Play and the Apple App Store will receive core items for character development, such as a Legendary Character Selection Ticket, character summon tickets, and legendary weapons and armor.
