May 14, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – LINE Games has launched new season The Forge for the multi-platform hack-and-slash action RPG UNDECEMBER, developed by NEEDS Games and serviced by LINE Games.

 

This season, The Forge, brings a significant upgrade to the gear crafting system. The newly added 'Tier 15 Gear Options' offer performance on par with existing Unique Gear, letting players experience the joy of crafting powerful and highly personalized equipment. Additionally, when playing in Season Mode, even higher-tier versions of these options will become available.

 

A new growth content feature, the 'Card System,' has also been introduced with this update. Players can equip cards featuring unique illustrations obtained through gameplay to enhance their character's Stats. Beyond collecting and upgrading cards, additional bonus Stats are granted based on strategic Deck combinations and Card Album completion progress, delivering the dual enjoyment of collection and character growth.

 

Two new Skills have also been added to expand the variety of combat build combinations. The new skills are 'Frost Storm,' which creates a chilled area, and 'Axe Throw,' which changes form depending on weapon type, offering diverse action and a strategic combat experience tailored to the battlefield.

 

A system overhaul has also been carried out to improve gameplay convenience. The end-game content Abyss Gate has received a stage expansion and difficulty balance adjustments. Moreover, the additions of Zodiac Preset Saving and a dedicated Chaos Rune Enchant further enhance the progression experience for more gratifying and comfortable gameplay.

 

Further updates include raising the maximum Avatar level to 140 and improving the reward criteria for Raid content, with adjustments made across the board. The increase of the maximum Friendship level in the Black Market, the addition of new items, and an overhaul of the Treasure Chest system have also significantly raised the overall reward experience players can feel in-game.

 

LINE Games will be holding a series of limited celebratory events to mark this new season The Forge update. First, all players who log into the game will receive 100% instant delivery of growth items, including the 'Zodiac Sprinter.' Players can also obtain the new pet 'Sirius' and new attachments through the '7-Day Attendance' event and by completing in-game challenges.
