[2026-0903] Line Games revealed Demo 2.0 for its self-developed premium survivor-like new title, Ember and Blade, on the 3rd.

The newly released Demo 2.0 is characterized by a complete redesign of the core element of the game: combat. It offers a fresh and advanced action mechanism experience by introducing combo actions utilizing light and heavy attack combinations.

In addition, to provide a more intuitive gameplay experience, automatically fired sidearms have been removed. The combat AI has been sophisticated so that monsters compress and surround the protagonist from multiple angles, and the action and sound of three main weapons—▲Sword, ▲Hammer, and ▲Shotgun—have been fully renewed. Visual effects triggered upon slaying monsters have also been significantly enhanced.

Furthermore, various directional cinematic elements utilizing terrain features during combat have been added. Moreover, putting boss-grade monsters into a groggy state provides additional attack bonuses, further heightening the thrill of battles against powerful enemies.

Beyond this, overall gameplay has been significantly revamped through Demo 2.0, including improved intuitiveness of the 'ACT 1' environment and the addition of new interactions to bring vitality to the citadel.

Based on player feedback from the demo version, Line Games plans to focus on enhancing the completeness of Ember and Blade, while officially expanding services across Steam, Epic Games Store, as well as console platforms such as PlayStation®5 and Xbox.
