September 11, 2026 – LINE Games has launched the new season The Farside for the hack-and-slash RPG UNDECEMBER, developed by NEEDS Games and serviced by LINE Games, on the 10th.

 

This new season introduces the new roguelike wave-defense content 'Agony Wave,' offering the thrill of battling against waves of enemy monsters and Bosses. New Skills have been added, and existing Channeling Skills have been reworked.

 

Agony Wave can be entered from Saluto, and requires the dedicated entry item 'Agony Key,' obtained by defeating a Chaos Dungeon Boss. Players must defeat Normal Monsters to fill the Gauge and take down the Wave Boss that appears.

 

Every time players clear a Wave, they must choose one of three options, each combining a Blessing and Curse. A limited-use option to remove unwanted choices is also provided, allowing for a different play experience with every attempt.

 

Additionally, players can collect 'Agony Shards' while progressing through Waves to directly select their Final Reward Chest, and can obtain newly added Essences through gameplay.

 

The newly added Essences include 'Spica,' which grows Runes Lv. 31 and above; 'Casthor,' which applies a multiplier to a Gear's Quality and Option values; '[The Forge] Birth,' which guarantees a [The Forge] Option is included when Options are re-rolled; and '[The Forge] Imbue,' which guarantees a [The Forge] Option is granted.

 

In addition, 2 new Skill Runes, 'Divine Punishment' and 'Charged Shot,' have been added, and the existing 5 Channeling Skills (▲Flamethrower ▲Sacred Light ▲Domain of Strength ▲Sacred Devotion ▲Mana-Infused Sentry) have been significantly improved to allow movement while maintaining Channeling.

 

Furthermore, the 'Constellation of Time' Dungeon has been merged into the Chaos Dungeon, and the Essence Gain Amount Increase effect of Zodiac Pass-exclusive materials has been raised by 100%. Alongside this, new Gear items have been added, and balance adjustments have been made to narrow the performance gap between Skills and Unique Gear.

 

Additionally, the 'Rune Cast Preset' has been added, allowing the saved configuration to be automatically searched for among owned Runes and re-equipped. Convenience improvements have also been made to Unique Gear Summon and Abyss Stone 'Favorite' function, among others.

 

A variety of in-game benefit events are underway to mark the new season's launch. New players who log in between August 6 and the end of The Farside season, as well as returning players with no login record in the past 30 days, will receive growth rewards through a dedicated Attendance Calendar, along with 'Zodiac Sprinter,' 'Unique Gear,' and more.

 

The in-game event 'Coco's Great Adventure' has also returned, and an Attendance Calendar and Season Support gifts have been prepared to celebrate the launch of The Farside season.
