LINE Games' Uncharted Waters Origin Collaboration with WEBTOON ‘Doom Breaker’ Underway!

  March 12, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has announced that it has launched a collaboration (hereafter referred to as the collab) with the WEBTOON 'Doom Breaker', along with special events celebrating the game's 3.5th Anniversary.   First, through the collab, the popular character 'Zephyr' from the hit Naver Webtoon action series 'Doom Breaker' has been introduced as a new S Grade Admiral in Uncharted Waters Origin. Zephyr is known as the last survivor of humanity and the hero who resisted the Demon God Tartarus, the being responsible for humanity's destruction, until the very end.   In addition, characters from ‘Doom Breaker’ have also been released as S Grade Mates: 'Altair Justina Cayenne', 'Ophelia Amleth', and 'Anna Primrose'.   Various special events commemorating the collab have also been prepared. First, the 'Collaboration Admiral Chronicle Prologue' will be available through April 7. Seafaring Sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin, Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day Events Under Way in New Update!

  February 12, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has rolled out a new update with special events to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day.   First, a new Admiral Chronicle has been added, featuring 'Dagna Kalros', a member of a Swedish merchant family. Players who own this Admiral can experience a story that uncovers the connection between the mysterious disappearance of her family's fortune and the sudden deaths of her parents.   As players progress through the Chronicle, they can obtain the A Grade Mate 'Per Sørensen', and upon completing the Chronicle, they can recruit the S Grade Mate 'Frida Stensdóttir' by visiting the inn.   Additionally, 'Fredrick' from the Bristol Inn is now recruitable as a Mate. By visiting the inn and maximizing Friendship with him, players will be able to recruit Fredrick as an S Grade Mate.   Players can enjoy many exciting new developments in Phase 2 of Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan'. With this update, the new Trade Good 'Red Smoked Herring' has been added to the Lusitanian Village and the Frankish Village. Seafaring Sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin, New Mates Added and New Year Events Under Way!

  January 16, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has added new Mates and carried out a content update, and has also launched special events to celebrate the New Year.   The newly added Mates are S Grade 'Arkan Verdad' and 'Rabout', with 'Rabout' working at the inn in Bremen. Upon visiting the inn and maximizing their Friendship with Rabout, players can recruit the employee as an S Grade Mate.   The Salvage component of the game as well as the rewards that can be earned from it have also been improved. Existing Salvage Regions have been removed and new Salvage Regions have been added (Beginner: North Atlantic, South Atlantic, Mid Atlantic, South Indian Ocean; Advanced: North Indian Ocean, Central Pacific, North Pacific, South Pacific). Through the improvements to Salvage rewards, players can now obtain a variety of items via Salvage, including 'Slot Expansion', 'Fortifier', and 'Enhance Protectant'.   In addition, new Discoveries related to the latest Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan' have been added.
