Seafaring Sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin, Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day Events Under Way in New Update!

  February 12, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has rolled out a new update with special events to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day.   First, a new Admiral Chronicle has been added, featuring 'Dagna Kalros', a member of a Swedish merchant family. Players who own this Admiral can experience a story that uncovers the connection between the mysterious disappearance of her family's fortune and the sudden deaths of her parents.   As players progress through the Chronicle, they can obtain the A Grade Mate 'Per Sørensen', and upon completing the Chronicle, they can recruit the S Grade Mate 'Frida Stensdóttir' by visiting the inn.   Additionally, 'Fredrick' from the Bristol Inn is now recruitable as a Mate. By visiting the inn and maximizing Friendship with him, players will be able to recruit Fredrick as an S Grade Mate.   Players can enjoy many exciting new developments in Phase 2 of Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan'. With this update, the new Trade Good 'Red Smoked Herring' has been added to the Lusitanian Village and the Frankish Village. Players can also obtain a new Adventure Note, 'Northern Records', through Land Exploration in the Greece and North Sea regions.   Furthermore, a new 'Craft Workshop' category has been added under the 'Production' feature. Using Trade Goods and Basic Crafting Tools, players can now produce growth materials (such as the Astrolabe and Manual) as well as Mate Gear such as Accessories and Face Deco. Three new 'Employee Requests' have also been added, which can be accepted after building Friendship with Inn Employees.   A variety of events celebrating Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day are also being held. First, the 'Valentine's Trade Event' will run through March 10. During the event period, surcharge effects will increase demand for Trade Goods such as 'Inca Rose', 'Mirror', and 'Platinum' in specific regions, greatly boosting trade profits.   During the same period, the 'Sweet Piece of Attendance Gift A Day' event will be open as well. Players who log in during the event period will receive a 'Sweet Voyage Ticket', which can also be obtained through the 'Angelica's Secret Chocolate Recipe' event and the 'Sweet Crafting Mission' event.   'Sweet Voyage Tickets' collected through these events can be used as the draw currency in the 'Sweet Lucky Draw' event, which runs through March 13. Seafaring Sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin, New Mates Added and New Year Events Under Way!

  January 16, 2026 – Seoul, South Korea – The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has added new Mates and carried out a content update, and has also launched special events to celebrate the New Year.   The newly added Mates are S Grade 'Arkan Verdad' and 'Rabout', with 'Rabout' working at the inn in Bremen. Upon visiting the inn and maximizing their Friendship with Rabout, players can recruit the employee as an S Grade Mate.   The Salvage component of the game as well as the rewards that can be earned from it have also been improved. Existing Salvage Regions have been removed and new Salvage Regions have been added (Beginner: North Atlantic, South Atlantic, Mid Atlantic, South Indian Ocean; Advanced: North Indian Ocean, Central Pacific, North Pacific, South Pacific). Through the improvements to Salvage rewards, players can now obtain a variety of items via Salvage, including 'Slot Expansion', 'Fortifier', and 'Enhance Protectant'.   In addition, new Discoveries related to the latest Investment Season 5: 'North Sea Clan' have been added. Through content and convenience improvements, information such as Trade Goods Market Price and Recommended Trade Goods can now be checked directly on the World Map. Company LV Achievements, Mate LV Achievements, and the 'Highest Profit Rankings' have also been added through this update.   Events packed with generous benefits will be held through February 10. During the 'Northern Wind Winter Festival Event', players who complete quests related to Salvage, Combat, Production, and Trade during the event period can obtain the 'Novice Amber Jewel Box', from which they can acquire the event item 'North Sea Amber', as well as items such as 'Slot Expansion' and 'Special Manual'.   The obtained 'North Sea Amber' can be exchanged for various growth items such as 'Grade 26 Build Request' and 'Transcendent Token' at the 'Union Master Exchange Shop', which will be open during the event period.   During the same period, another event will also be held in which various rewards such as 'Transcendent Token' and 'Enhance Protectant' will be granted based on individual and Guild rankings according to the total amount of 'North Sea Amber' obtained. Events commemorating the revamped Salvage have also been prepared. Through the ' Sunken Treasure Company Attendance', players who log in during the event period can obtain the consumable Salvage item 'Legendary Salvage Rope' for 7 days.   In addition, every Saturday at 18:00 (UTC+9), a limited Salvage Region will open via in-game mail, where players can obtain the 'Great Treasure Chest'. The chest can be obtained during the designated period from 19:30 (UTC+9) to 20:00 (UTC+9). Using the 'Great Treasure Chest' grants improved Salvage rewards, including 'Slot Expansion', 'Ducats' (in-game currency), and more.   Finally, the Sunken Treasure Company Mission' have been added. Seafaring Sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin Update and Player Benefit Events!

  [2025-1120] The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, has rolled out new game content and a series of player benefit events.   First, four Inn Employees can now be recruited as S Grade Mates by maximizing their Friendship. The employees are the Seville Inn Employee 'Azeneth', the Porto Inn Employee 'Adelina', the Jakarta Inn Employee 'Purnama', and the Malacca Inn Employee 'Sunita'. Each can be recruited as an S Grade Mate when their Friendship is raised to the maximum.   In addition, outdated rewards in the existing Admiral Chronicle 'Memoirs' products have been improved. When purchasing Memoirs products, players will now receive more useful items, such as 'Mate Common Contracts' and 'Blue Gems' game currency, among other useful rewards.   Also, new Exclusive Gear has been added for five existing Admirals (João Franco, Catalina Erantzo, Ali Vezas, Otto Baynes, and Ernst Von Bohr). The Exclusive Gear is provided as the final reward of the Admiral Memoirs product. Players who have already completed purchase of the relevant Admiral Memoirs will receive the items via in-game mail.   Alongside the update, the 'Festival of Luck' will run through December 14. During this event, players can obtain large quantities of Investment Season 4's reward item, 'Investment Deeds', as well as various growth currencies.   First, through the 'Fall's Abundant Finale: Festival of Luck', players who log in for 14 days will obtain the 'Luck Certificate Lottery Ticket'. Using this ticket grants a random quantity of 'Investment Deeds'.   During the event, there will also be the 'Festival of Luck Hot Time Buff' periods. During Hot Time I, running from November 19 through 25, players receive a 'Trade Goods Purchase Cost 50% Discount'. During Hot Time II, running from November 26 through December 2, a buff that decreases Trade Goods consumption by 5% when Bartering will be applied.   Hot Time III, running from December 3 through 9, provides a 'Shipbuilding Cost 50% Discount' buff, and Hot Time IV, running from December 10 through 14, applies a 'Land Exploration Tool Purchase Cost 50% Discount' buff.   Finally, the 'Festival of Luck Ducat Item Event' will be taking place. During this event, a category called 'Company Alliance' will appear in the shop, allowing players to spend Ducats to purchase growth items such as the 'Common Contract', 'Fortifier', and 'Special Manual'. Ducat Items will also grant the 'Company Alliance Tally Card'.   By collecting 'Company Alliance Tally Cards' and visiting the 'Company Alliance Auction' event page, players can exchange them for 'Company Alliance Special Tally Cards', 'Special Manuals', 'Grade 24–25 Ship Materials', and more.
